In February the club met at Jack and Kathy Dunlop’s home in Ormond Beach.

This was the first meeting conducted by our incoming president, Fred Zollinger. Fred thanked Jack and Kathy for hosting our meeting. Randy Hess, outgoing president, was presented a gift in recognition of his leadership of the club during the past two years. Updates were given for the treasury and the upcoming koi show in March. The club selected Bill and Angie Taylor as our AKCA “Koi Person of the Year” recipients.

A program followed the business meeting with Jack telling us about his pond and some precautions for our ponds entering the Spring of the year. Jack netted some of his koi for a discussion led by Joe about how the koi are formally judged at shows.
